Every Stage of Growth
At the International School of the Turks and Caicos Islands, the learning environment is carefully designed to support every stage of a child’s development. From nurturing nursery classrooms to the purpose-built Middle School building, each space fosters curiosity, independence, and academic growth. The campus is welcoming and intentionally created to evolve with each student, supporting meaningful learning experiences from early years through adolescence.
Modern Classrooms and Learning Environments
Classrooms across ISTCI are modern, well-equipped, and tailored to support students of all ages. All learning spaces are fully air-conditioned and include interactive whiteboards to enhance instruction. Students have access to laptops and tablets to support research, collaboration, and digital literacy.
Specialist spaces include:
Nursery and Early Years
Designed with safety, exploration, and engagement in mind, this area features age-appropriate furniture, indoor learning centers, and outdoor play areas that encourage curiosity and developmental play.
Science, Technology, and Innovation Facilities
Hands-on learning in science and technology is supported by dedicated, purpose-built spaces. The purpose-built Science Laboratory serves students from Grade 3 through Grade 9 and is led by a specialist science teacher. ISTCI is the only primary school in the region to provide a fully equipped science lab for this age group, fostering early interest in scientific inquiry and experimentation.
Technology is integrated throughout the curriculum. The Computing program includes a modern computer suite, access to iPads and projectors, and up-to-date educational software. Interactive whiteboard technology is being introduced in phases across classrooms from Senior Kindergarten through Grade 9, enhancing digital literacy and engagement across all year levels.
Sports and Outdoor Learning Spaces
Students benefit from a variety of recreational and athletic facilities that support physical health, social development, and active learning across all year levels.
Swimming Pool
The newly upgraded Olympic-size pool is the only school swimming pool in the Turks and Caicos Islands and also the largest pool in the country. It supports both physical education and competitive training. The facility includes changing rooms, showers, and washroom amenities, and is used weekly as part of the school’s core physical education program.
